Addressable COB LED Strip 540LEDs/M 8W IP20 10MM

This addressable COB LED strip combines a continuous-looking light surface with programmable segment control. The listed configuration uses 540 LEDs per metre, 8W per metre, a 10mm PCB and IP20 construction for dry indoor installations.

When to use addressable COB

It suits bars, display furniture, entertainment interiors, signage and architectural features that need moving color or brightness effects without the pronounced dots of many conventional pixel strips. The visible smoothness depends on viewing distance, profile and diffuser.

Controller and power planning

• Confirm the IC protocol and compatible controller before wiring.
• Match strip, controller and power-supply voltage.
• Set the correct pixel or segment count in software.
• Follow the data-direction arrows on the PCB.
• Connect grounds correctly and keep data wiring within the recommended length.
• Plan power injection using the full-output load.

IP20 installation limits

IP20 is intended for dry indoor locations. It does not protect against water or condensation. If the strip is installed in a bar counter, bathroom, exterior or other exposed area, select an appropriate protected construction and ensure connectors and cut ends achieve the same level.

Verify the effect with a sample

Confirm animation speed, dimming steps, color appearance and camera performance using the intended controller. For video environments, check refresh behavior and PWM frequency rather than relying on a phone recording alone.

Can a normal RGB controller operate it?

No. It needs a digital controller compatible with the strip's IC protocol.

Can IP20 strip be used outdoors inside a profile?

A profile alone does not necessarily provide a certified weatherproof system. Specify a suitable protected product.

Is every LED individually controlled?

Control may be by individual LED or by segment, depending on the circuit and IC. Confirm the pixel definition in the technical data.
