1.8mm Ultra Slim Side-Emitting LED Strip for Cabinets & Wardrobes

This 1.8mm ultra-slim side-emitting LED strip is designed for lighting details where a conventional top-emitting strip or wide profile will not fit. Its lateral light direction is useful for cabinet edges, wardrobe rails, display furniture and other narrow architectural recesses.

Where the side-emitting format helps

A side-emitting strip directs light across the installation plane rather than straight away from the PCB. This can simplify edge-lighting details and reduce the depth required for selected furniture constructions. The final effect still depends on distance to the illuminated surface, finish reflectance and diffuser design.

• Verify that the 1.8mm PCB and connection method fit the available channel.
• Respect the stated bending direction and minimum radius.
• Plan cable exits before fixing the furniture panels.
• Use mechanical support where adhesive area is limited.
• Test heat and brightness in the completed recess.

Specify the complete assembly

For repeatable furniture production, define the strip, profile, diffuser, cable length, connector position and driver as one assembly. A sample should be evaluated in the real cabinet material because dark finishes absorb more light and glossy surfaces can reveal individual bright points.
