Very high color reproduction index RI is possible, theoretically the simplest manufacturing solution. The stability of the color light depends only on the phosphor and can be very stable.
Disadvantages: Leaking UV light can damage the LED sealant and lead to device life problems. The light conversion efficiency is not high, its own absorption, light transmission, etc.

Features of 5050 LED(Blue)+Phosphor(Yellow) solution
Advantages: Only a single phosphor, relatively simple to manufacture. The phosphor for blue light alone is mature and abundant. The color reproduction of the white light is moderate (RI?75%). The stability of the phosphor can already meet the requirements of color reproduction.
Disadvantages: light conversion efficiency is not high, its own absorption, light transmission, etc.. Color reproduction is not high enough. The stability of the color is greatly affected by the temperature and driving current. The color will change with the observation angle change.

Advantages: Highest photoelectric efficiency. From the long-term development point of view, this solution will be the mainstream solution. Arbitrary color adjustment is possible. Excellent color rendering ability (RI). Very wide color gamut range.
Disadvantages: complex color-light feedback control is required to compensate for the changing characteristics of the LED5050 material properties with temperature, as well as the light decay characteristics of the LED.
