ZBL Lighting Shines at the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition 2023 in June

In June 2023, ZBL Lighting exhibited at the Guangzhou International Lighting Exhibition. The event brought together manufacturers, designers, distributors and project companies, making it a useful place to compare new linear lighting formats and discuss how products perform after installation.

Products are only part of the specification

Visitors could examine LED strip samples and discuss the choices behind them. For white-light products, this included LED density, color temperature, CRI and color consistency. For RGB and addressable products, control protocol, pixel grouping and power injection were equally important. Outdoor projects added questions about encapsulation, UV exposure and sealing at every connection.

These discussions reinforced a simple point: a reliable LED strip system includes the strip, driver, controller, profile, cables and installation method. Selecting one component without checking the others can lead to visible voltage drop, flicker or premature failure.

Turning a project brief into a sample

A useful sample should represent the intended production configuration, not just a visually similar product. We encourage customers to provide drawings, run lengths, target output, operating environment and control requirements. This allows the engineering team to identify potential issues before bulk production.
