Guangzhou Design Week Exhibition 2023

ZBL Lighting exhibited at Guangzhou Design Week 2023, presenting LED linear lighting products to designers, contractors and other project professionals. For our team, the value of the show was not simply displaying products; it was seeing how designers evaluate light as part of materials, furniture and architectural details.

From a product sample to an architectural detail

A strip that looks bright on a display board may behave very differently after it is installed in a narrow cove, behind stone or inside joinery. Discussions at the event focused on the details that influence the finished effect: LED spacing, diffuser depth, bend direction, color rendering, heat management and the visibility of connection points.

COB products drew attention for applications where the light source is close to a shallow diffuser or reflective surface. A continuous light line can be useful in display furniture, hospitality interiors and decorative coves. Designers comparing this approach can review our COB LED strip options.

What we took back to product development

Design conversations are most useful when they reveal a constraint: a tighter radius, a smaller profile, a more accurate color requirement or a difficult installation location. Feedback gathered at Guangzhou Design Week helps our team evaluate which product formats and accessories are genuinely useful in projects.
